Our thinking is simple. Everybody has different tastes when it comes to fashion. You might like more conservative styles, while your co-worker might like something more risqué. You might like solid colors, while your next door neighbor prefers patterns. And here's the kicker. No one style is really "better" than any other. It's all a matter of preference. As the saying goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

So when you want suggestions on what to buy, who do you turn to? Naturally, you would want to turn to people who have similar tastes as you do. But how do you determine who that is? That is where we come in. We find people with similar style preferences as you, and we recommend to you the items that those folks like best.

How it works

Sound too good to be true? Not really, at least not with our our fashion recommendation engine. Our engineers won't disclose the details of how it works (it would be boring mumble jumble anyway), but they did describe the basic algorithm (which is some fancy computer term for process).

	We first get a sense of the styles you like by asking you to evaulate a random sampling of products for a particular categegory.
	Based on your answers, our fashion reccomendation engine builds a virtual profile of your fashion preferences. We then find other users with similar profiles as you.
	We determine which products these other users like, and we present them to you as suggestions for what you might consider buying.

And best of all, if you log in with your Facebook account, we can continuously refine your fashion profile in our recommendation engine to bring you more and more accurate suggestions.
